Happy Thanksgiving

I want to extend my heartfelt wishes to all for a Happy Thanksgiving!

This year was a very different challenge for me as I suddenly had to create our traditional Thanksgiving feast gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free. I am just shy of 2 weeks after major back surgery and this task seemed insurmountable. That being said, our table was full of delicious food I could have.

I am very grateful to my children and father for being my amazing taste test subjects. I am grateful to my surgeon and doctor for never giving up on helping me. I am grateful to my extended family and friends for being my my side even if it is just through online support. I am grateful that I am able to spread my knowledge and help to others so they could also enjoy their Color Me Sensible diets.

Our table was full of flavor, traditions, memories, family, and love.. the only thing missing was gluten, dairy, and soy.

I can’t wait to share my recipes and successes with you for your next special holiday meal. I hope your holiday brought you family, love, and happiness. I hope that your meals were not only delicious but they were nutritious as well. Lastly, as always, I hope you took time to ENJOY!
